Africa SOMA is a federally and provincially registered not-for profit, fully volunteer organization supporting small-scale educational initiatives in rural Kenya. The Swahili work SOMA, which means 'to learn, read, and study' summarizes our mission. The creation of Africa SOMA was first and foremost inspired by Kenya's youth and their unabated enthusiasm and curiosity for life and learning. Our mission is to increase accessibility and quality of education in rural Kenya in long-term partnership with Community Based Organizations (CBO).
