Utah Pet Partners is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit that recruits, trains, mentors and supports animal/handler teams to volunteer at hospitals, rehabilitation centers, shelters, nursing homes, airports, schools, and libraries. We train health care professionals to optimize our services, educate the public concerning the benefits of animals to human health and well-being, and participates in research in animal-assisted activities and therapy. The name change is because we have become a community partner with the national Pet Partners.
