The Amache Alliance mission is to preserve the WWII Japanese American Granada War Relocation Center site in Colorado, known as Amache. Educate about Amache's history and legacy, preserve survivors' stories and through the amache.org website; and support maintenance of the Amache site and Museum maintained by John Hopper and his Granada High students, who are known as the Amache Preservation Society ... Society. An all-volunteer nonprofit is involved in the creation and establishment of the new Amache National Historic Site, soon to be manage by the National Park Service. We are also carrying on the legacy and vision of the original Nisei led Amache Historical Society who lived at Amache.
