Cause Description:
EWB-USA helps create a more stable and prosperous world by addressing people's basic human needs by providing necessities such as clean water, power, sanitation and education. Because of its strong university presence, EWB-USA is the catalyst for a new movement to educate the next generation of socially conscious engineers deeply aware of the needs of the rest of the world. EWB at Stevens is a student chapter of EWB-USA. Current projects include a micro-hydroelectric generator that is currently supplying power to a small community in Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic.
